Erica Ebert is a nationally recognized leadership consultant, culture strategist, and mindfulness educator with over 27 years of experience in education and organizational transformation. Combining the science of emotional intelligence with the art of courageous leadership, Erica partners with school districts, leadership teams, and organizations to align vision with action and people with purpose.
A Certified Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) teacher through Brown University and a former co-chair of the New York State Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) Advisory Committee, Erica is celebrated for her ability to shift organizational cultures with clarity, compassion, and coherence. Whether facilitating strategic retreats, leading professional development sessions, or coaching executive leaders, she brings an unparalleled depth of presence, insight, and authenticity to every engagement.
Her expertise centers on creating emotionally intelligent systems and fostering trust within teams. Through her consulting and coaching, Erica helps leaders prioritize what truly matters, build cohesive cultures, and lead with heart.
Erica’s journey into mindfulness began in 2006 when she became a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) through American Power Yoga in Dallas, Texas. A weekend training with Pema Chödrön in 2009 solidified her passion for mindfulness meditation, which has since become a cornerstone of her work. With over 15 years of experience teaching yoga and meditation, Erica has also excelled as an English teacher, instructional specialist, and curriculum writer.
Erica holds the designation of E-RYT 500 and is a graduate of Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield's Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Training. She currently teaches yoga and mindfulness at Midtown Athletic Club in Rochester, NY, and continues to visit Dallas, TX, to lead classes at Good Vibes Yoga.
In her role as a staff development trainer for W-FL BOCES, Erica works with educators to integrate mindfulness and emotional intelligence into classrooms for students ages 4 to 18. Her work is deeply rooted in the belief that purposeful leadership begins with emotional alignment and self-awareness.
